Since early childhood Sara Dawn has experienced a deep connection with animals and nature. Through her love for the natural world, she found an insurmountable inspiration, which compelled her to express herself through art and writing. As a young adult, Sara was a successful self-taught artist, receiving various awards and recognition within her local community. At the age of twenty she enrolled at Linn Benton Community College to formally begin her training as a fine artist.

Sara's favorite subject matter has always been horses. She began working with horses at the age of ten. It is Sara's personal philosophy and belief that each animal brings its own 'medicine' or messages to share with humanity.

The focus of her work has remained centered around assisting people to find and express their connection to nature, to enhance, inspire, and facilitate the blossoming of personal growth, personal power, and to expand the levels of joy experienced by both the young and old. It is Sara's experience that horses are here to share these experiences with us, and that this is the 'medicine' the horse has brought to mankind.

Sara feels each work of art she completes is a result of Divine inspiration, a passionate expression of the energy that flows through all of creation. She feels it is an honor to share her gift of creativity, and sincerely believes that improving the aesthetics of our surroundings can deeply benefit our experience in all aspects of life.
